Oxley Park

Avebury led a consortium in a bid to English Partnerships (EP), now part of the Homes and Communities Agency. Our design met the stringent criteria required by EP in terms of appearance, sustainability and affordable housing, whilst generating a density, layout and mix which produced the best offer, secured the project and responded to the immediate environment, including a site of special scientific importance.

The winning scheme comprises 167 dwellings of which 50 are for affordable housing, plus 2,000m² of retail and commercial space. All dwellings achieve Eco Homes Excellent standard. Having successfully made the bid with KingsOak Homes, now David Wilson Homes, Avebury obtained the necessary planning consents and subsequently produced the working drawings for construction and for the retail fit-out.
